we're proud to announce support for PostgreSQL database. The
PostgreSQL database is now available on all plans that currently
include a MySQL database option for NO extra cost. You can
add PostgreSQL to your account from the Control Panel and

NEW! Email Anti-virus Scan
Fast Hit has upgraded email scan engine. Our anti-virus software
is updated daily with new virus definitions and is expected
to block most of emails containing viruses. Anti virus scan
is enabled automatically for all email boxes hosted with Fast

NEW! Anti-spam software
An anti-spam module is now active. Fast Hit blocks spam
email listed in the www.spamhaus.org
real-time black list database. All other emails are assessed
for spam and if certain criteria are matched, the email's
Subject is tagged with "****SPAM****" prefix before
arriving to your mail box. Our Spam protection system is based
on legendary and widely used SpamAssassin software. Most email
programs have support files or sites to assist in creating
a rule to delete such flagged email messages. Please see the
application's support site for information. Future upgrades
of our Control Panel will allow you to specify spam rules

New Internet Connection - Telstra
Today our Datacentre got connected to Telstra - which means
must faster access to Australian and international sites,
as well as additional redundancy.

System Upgrade is complete!
All new accounts will enjoy Dual Xeon power and security
of Raid-5 disk arrays. All current clients' web sites will
be migrated to the new system over the next month. Have you

Planned Hardware Upgrades
A long awaited hardware upgrade is scheduled for the next
2-5 weeks. We will be installing brand new Dell Dual Xeon
servers with Raid-5 configuration, more cisco network devices
and a more reliable backup routine. We plan to migrate all
clients' web sites to the new servers soon after their deployment.
So, stay tuned. We will be emailing more information about
migrating your site to the new system sometime soon. Please
let us know if you have any special requests. We expect no
downtime during your site migration. We will allow enough
time for you to test your account on the new server before

New web hosting plans are due to be launched in October.
New features will include the following:
- Email only plans (POP3 and IMAP support and email forwarding)
- Return of ColdFusion 5 support for all Linux plans
- Customizable re-sellers plans (use your own logo, change
colours, your own plans and your own DNS servers)
- Pre-programmed cgi scripts (shopping carts, counter etc)

- User Support forum

Network Upgrade.
Our network and server upgrade is nearly complete. We now
have direct links to AAPT (Connect), SingTel and Comindico.
We are also linked to the WAIX. More connections will follow
